Construction products bearing the CE marking

Technical and Test Institute for Construction Prague, SOE (TZÚS Prague) is authorized as a notified body 1020 to perform third party tasks in the procedure of assessment and verification of constancy of performance for the purposes of Regulation (EU) No. 305/2011 of the European Parliament and of the Council (CPR). This assessment justifies and at the same time obliges the manufacturer to affix the CE marking.

The CE marking shall be affixed to all construction products for which the manufacturer has drawn up 
a declaration of performance in accordance with the CPR.

Meaning of CE marking
  • by affixing the CE marking or having the CE marking affixed to the construction product, the manufacturer acknowledges that he is responsible for the conformity of such product with the characteristics stated in the declaration of performance and for compliance with all relevant requirements set out in the and other relevant EU harmonization legislation providing for its attachment.

The CPR applies to products for which harmonized technical specifications have been established:

  • harmonized standards
  • European Assessment Documents - EAD (ETA is issued on the basis of EAD)
