Acoustics
TZÚS Prague offers the services of the unique laboratory of building acoustics LASA, which provides acoustic tests according to European standards. The modular system of fixing samples to the test equipment allows very fast and flexible testing of a large number of samples.
Video presentation of the unique laboratory of building acoustics LASA
Building acoustics
- sound insulation measurement of building structures in the laboratory and on construction sites in accordance with international standards; verification and approval measurements (partitions, ceilings, windows, doors, perimeter cladding)
- measurement of soundproofing of products, components and parts of buildings (glazing, windows, doors, skylights, ETICS, etc.)
- measuring the acoustic effects of curtains against traffic noise
- measurement of physical and acoustic parameters of building sound insulation and sound absorbing products (sound absorption and resistance to air flow)
- theoretical calculations and predictions of soundproofing
Hygienic acoustics
- measurement of sound pressure levels (noise levels) according to the hygienic directives of the Ministry of Health and regulations of the Czech government in the working and non-working environment, other acoustic measurements and assessments according to customer requirements
Noise studies
- evaluation of the total current and prospective noise load in the area
- evaluation of the influence of the operation of line and stationary noise sources and their comparison with the valid hygienic limits
Expert opinions in the field of building acoustics
- opinions for courts in case of complaints and disputes
Representatives of the laboratory are members of various professional associations, e.g. the Association of Acoustics of the Czech Construction Industry, the Technical Standardization Commission TNK 8 - Acoustics, the WG02 Acoustic working group at the European Organization for Technical Approvals, etc.
Lighting and dust
FPhysical factors of dust and lighting are measured using mobile devices directly at customers.
Lighting and brightness
- measurement of lighting technical parameters of artificial lighting in relation to the basic qualitative and quantitative requirements of a harmonized European standard (illuminance, uniformity of lighting)
Dust
- measurement of total dust in the work environment
