Technical and Test Institute for Construction Prague, SOE (TZÚS Prague), was based onda Decision of the Ministry of Industry and Trade File no. 46904/11/03100/03000 of 15.11.2011 designated as a Technical Assessment Body (TAB) pursuant to Regulation (EU) No 305/2011 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 9 March 2011 laying down harmonized conditions for placing construction products on the market.
TAB activities in the EU are coordinated by the European Technical Assessment Organization (EOTA), which also coordinates European Technical Assessment (ETA) applications and the European Assessment Documents (EAD) adoption process. TAB TZUS Prague, s.p., acts as a spokesperson and coordinator for the Czech Republic in EOTA according to Article 5.2 of the EOTA Statute.
