The Department of Research, Development and Innovations (VVI) monitors European normalization and research programmes, takes part in them, actively participates in innovations of construction products and technologies, and proposes corresponding testing procedures, assesses suitability for the intended use, and assesses their properties with regard to fulfilment of basic requirements of constructions.
