Especially following testing procedures for assessment of usability of refractory products in different conditions are introduced:
- determination of permanent change in dimensions (EN 993-10, EN 1094-6, ISO 2477, ISO 2478);
- determination of refractoriness under load up to 1700 °C (EN 993-8, ISO 1893, DIN 51064);
- determination of creep in compresion (EN 993-9, ISO 3187);
- determination of pyrometric cone equivalent (refractoriness) up to temperature 1800 °C (EN 993-12, ISO 528)
- determination of modulus of rupture at elevated temperatures (EN 993-7)
