Prague Branch Laboratory Confirms Its Quality in a European Interlaboratory Comparison
The laboratory at the Prague branch of TZÚS Prague, SOE, registered under the KEYMARK scheme for thermal insulation products, participated in a European interlaboratory comparison during the summer months. A total of 17 KEYMARK-registered laboratories took part.
The interlaboratory comparison focused on determining tensile strength perpendicular to faces in accordance with ISO 29765 for polystyrene thermal insulation products. Density was also determined. The tests enabled laboratories across Europe to compare their results and verify their ability to produce mutually comparable and reliable results.
The Prague laboratory received an “excellent performance” rating, documented by a certificate from the interlaboratory comparison. The measured tensile strength value lay almost at the centre of the set of results obtained by the participating laboratories. This rating confirms the Prague laboratory’s technical competence and strengthens customers’ confidence in the reliability of its test results.
TZÚS Prague, SOE, thus also demonstrates at European level that it has first-class technical expertise and a laboratory capable of providing high-quality, trustworthy test results for thermal insulation products.
